The fantastic Rana is incredibly knowledgeable and can help guide you if you're unsure about what to order. The dishes can be adjusted to your preferred level of spiciness. The restaurant is environmentally conscious and has received a 5-star food hygiene rating. I highly recommend this restaurant for its great ambiance, delicious food, cocktails, shisha, and attentive staff!
I visited this restaurant for an evening meal and had a great experience. The food was delicious, and I really appreciated the seating arrangements, which offered plenty of space between tables and other guests. The decor was lovely, and the staff were attentive and greeted us with smiles. My only complaints would be that I think the prices could be slightly lower, and the music was a bit too loud, making conversation difficult. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I would definitely come back.
What a small jewel of an Indian restaurant that is eating is sporty and simply amazing personal are professional and the decor is stunning large for intimate restaurants plus groups so glad I found this place ask
We visited at about 6pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was about half full, by the time we left it was pretty much full. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was excellent. I choose the lamb rezala for main and the lamb was so tender, flaking apart, and no nasty fatty bits. The flavours were delicious and the sauce wasn’t too oily like some Indian food can be. I would recommend Sangam for a modern looking place that has great food. I’d definitely go back
We ordered drinks, including a virgin piña colada and a sangria. They accidentally served us a piña colada with alcohol, which we only realized after taking a sip. They quickly brought us a new drink and didn’t charge us for the first one. Overall, the drinks were good. For appetizers, we tried the papadum, meat samosas, and king prawn tikka. The presentation was nice—nothing extraordinary, but beautiful nonetheless. The waiter was very polite and offered us water, checking in often to ensure our meal was satisfactory. For mains, we ordered the laal mas and chicken jalfrezi, along with garlic naan and cheesy naan. The curries were excellent and spicy (just the way we like it). Since there was a mix-up with one of the drinks, they generously treated us to complimentary desserts—rasmalai and gulab jamun. However, the ice cream they served had a bit of an icicle texture, which suggested it had been defrosted and refrozen, so I wasn’t a fan of that. Overall, I would rate the experience a 7/10 for me and my partner.
