Chiquito - Manchester

Super service, even at 11:00 pm on a Thursday night. We ended up here after a evening show at the Lowry and wasn't disappointed. We were a bit wary if they would accept us after 10:30 pm, but the waiter welcomed us in. There were more people who came after us (from the same show probably) and everyone was welcomed. The menu is usual for a Mexican restaurant, they also had specials. We ordered a chicken and chorizo quesadilla to start, and it was hot and tasty. I ordered a peri-peri chicken wrap and my partner ordered a half peri-peri chicken. Both were tasty and filling. Came with lots of skin-on chips and the red cabbage coleslaw was delicious. The hotness of the food was perfect, my mouth is watering even now when I write. The decor is typical Mexican style, they were playing good music. Just like any other Mexican restaurant, not a hugely fine-dine place, but reaches there almost. Service was warm and prompt. Enjoyed the food, and the service, definitely coming back whenever we are coming for a show at the Lowry.

I had been to this restaurant located in Nottingham,UK. I could not find them here but i'm rating it here : I had been here with my cousins and its a lovely place....its to die for!!! The staff are very friendly and disciplined.It has a WIFI connectivity available...you need to register first though...The food is simply amazing and delicious....If you live in the UK or anywhere...you must definitely visit this place!!!! I've been told all the Chiquito Restaurants all over are very good...personally got to experience it...Its quite expensive but the food is worth paying so much!! I would definitely visit this place next time when I visit The UK. Its a great place to hangout with family and cousins : Keep up the great work you guys have done : A humble request from is that you should open a branch in Bangalore,India. I'm sure many people would be happy to visit your restaurant.....ever since i visited your restaurant I've become a die-hard fan of the dishes you serve.....keep continuing this AWESOME WORK guys !!!! Oh and last but not the least....u guys serve THE WORLD"S BEST NACHOS!!!!!!!!!!

Fresh Mex We came to Chiquitos starving, hangry and tired after going to the gym and boy did we have a great experience. We were served by an asian man who seemed like he may be the manger whose service was excellent and made us feel looked after, which took me by surprise having such bad experiences with staff in greater manchester of late. The food was excellent with a lot of authentic options you won't find places like barburitos for example. The portions were also decent as they should be for the price and left me in a small food coma, I especially recommend trying the chimichanga if you never have before. We also ordered from the 2 for 1 cocktails menu which were fantastic treat to end the meal that tasted fresh and vibrant. Also there's lots of different seating options surrounded by fantastic decor, the music on top of this creates an infections atmosphere that will have you grabbing one of the many mexican hats and getting more in touch with your humorous side. It's a fun place and the consistent evening soft lighting helps one relax amongst a group of friends so you can express yourself and have fun. Chiquito is pricy so maybe it wont become a regular venue for you but a group of friends on a birthday will have a fantastic time with jokes laughter and great food. Lastly if you love rum they have ALOT of it looking at you Jack Sparrow ps I can't comment on the meat options being vegan that a few reviewers seems to have a big issue with or a lot of the seemingly bad staffing issues given it was a quiet day on my visit.

We were hungry after a long day of travel and Chiquito was across the street from our hotel. I had the Chicken Baja Bowl, Pornstar Martini and the Brownie Baked Banana. I enjoyed my drink and dessert more than my entree.

We picked this place last minute because it's close to the stadium and we're pleasantly surprised. The food and margaritas were amazing. We ordered a bunch of street food and highly recommend that option. We are Hispanics from Miami, FL in the states and tough critics sometimes, but this place is on point. The service was a little slow, hence the missing star, but overall a good experience.
