Our friend who is exempt was refused from entering unless she paid 50p for a mask and wore it. we showed the staff and manager the government website that says you can’t force anyone to show evidence of exemption (she has a photo on her phone but they demanded a sunflower lanyard) but they said they didn’t care and it’s their policy. i then said “ok let’s get the mask then” and the manager said i was aggressive, had an attitude, and told my entire group we had to leave despite us having a booking and a member of our group already being seated inside. the manager said that after a few drinks we would be harassing his staff?? we were outnumbered by the amount of staff and forced out the doors when we’d been nothing but polite wont be going back and no one else should be either tbh if they treat people with different health needs in this way and accuse young black girls of being too aggressive to enter.

Moving the steins up by a quid was a big mistake. You may aswell get two pints instead of the stein now. Silly 256
