Tuscani Italian Grill - Manassas

I would give 0 stars if I could! Please look at what I ordered vs. what I got... Oh the bread was just a frozen roll like huh? How is that Italian? I could've made this at home better too. This place is a complete joke!!!

Very nice atmosphere not too crowded or loud (this was a Saturday evening). Very friendly wait staff, too. The manager came over shortly after we were seated, to greet us a nice touch. The overall service was just right not rushed, but not slow, either. Really enjoyed the food! We had the mussels appetizer, which was delicious. Instead of in the shell, only the mussel meat was in the creamy tomato based broth, with good garlic bread. For dinner we had the salmon on linguini and the seafood pescatore. Portion size was really good (i.e. we took leftovers home). The seafood was all cooked just right, not overdone. Terrific flavors for both dishes. We'd like to see a larger selection of red wines, but the bottle we had was very good, at a good price. Looking forward to going there again!

I ordered two penne pastas via Uber Eats, choosing this restaurant because they allowed meat to be replaced with vegetables for an extra $2, which was ideal for my vegetarian guests. Unfortunately, after a frustrating wait of 1.5 hours, both orders arrived with meat instead of the requested vegetables. I was incredibly disappointed. Given the significant inconvenience, I can only rate this experience one star out of five. We had to look for alternative options to satisfy our hunger.

I felt like Gordon Ramsay could burst in at any moment. I had dinner here about an hour and a half ago, and now I’m home, feeling both angry and hungry. I ordered the baked spaghetti with meatballs but instead received it with meat sauce. The side salad was just your standard mix—some lettuce, a tomato slice, two slices of red onion, and one cucumber slice, all topped with Italian dressing. At least the bread was warm and the butter soft. Unfortunately, the baked spaghetti was undercooked and sour. It looked good with its cheesy topping, but that couldn’t redeem it. Honestly, I’d much rather eat my mother-in-law's pasta. My husband ordered the Greek pizza, but it was missing the feta. While the number of olives was impressive—close to 40 whole olives, if he counted correctly—it made the pizza quite salty, and the dough was just doughy. The service was excruciatingly slow. The manager checked on us right after our food arrived, but after that, we waited nearly half an hour for anyone to come back. To make matters worse, we witnessed the manager ignoring two patrons who came in to pick up their carry-out orders. She sat at the bar for at least five minutes with her back to the door. I think I’d prefer to go to Paisanos next time.

The food at this restaurant is decent, although the service was quite slow. The ambiance inside is pleasant. However, it took 20 minutes for us to receive the check after we requested it. The food is flavorful, but it doesn't stand out compared to similar restaurants. I plan to return in a few weeks to see if the service improves or if it's more of the same.
