The meat was bland and lacked flavor, especially considering the price. The naan bread was good, but the mantu was just okay. Overall, the food was decent, but not impressive. You might leave feeling underwhelmed rather than satisfied. I would only recommend this place if you have a strong craving for kebabs and don't want to drive further. Taking into account the price, quality of food, and taste, I would give this place 3 stars. It's not terrible, but there are better options available. Pros: Convenient if you're hungry and don't want to go elsewhere. Cons: Dry chicken and lamb, not worth the price, lacking in flavor, and smaller portion sizes compared to other restaurants.
I ordered 2 bone-in chicken tikkas at this restaurant. When my order arrived, I received one serving of brown rice and one serving of white rice, even though I had always requested brown rice in the past. This was not a major issue, but I was disappointed to find a hair in the white rice and to discover that the chickpeas were sour, tasting as if they were leftover from a previous day. When I called to explain my concerns to the staff, the lady I spoke with was not attentive and ended up yelling at me before abruptly hanging up the phone without offering an apology. This poor customer service experience has led me to decide not to return to this restaurant. I only visited because it was conveniently located near where I was shopping, but my previous experiences have also included missing items from my order that were never replaced or apologized for. Overall, I feel that I wasted $31.50 at this establishment and would not recommend it to my friends or family. If possible, I would give this restaurant a zero-star rating.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! It always has a great atmosphere and the food is full of delicious flavors. The baklava here is top-notch, the best I've had in the DMV area. I also tried the eggplant dish and the famous kabobs, both of which were incredibly delicious. I will definitely be returning, and I especially love the decor that showcases the roots of Afghan cuisine.
I was 10 min late to pickup my order , they put my sandwich on the Marbal countertop and it was cold . I asked the guy if he can warm it he said thats my problem. Very bad costumer service. I never recommend this place to anyone.
