It has a lodge-like atmosphere, large fireplace in the main room, and of course the magnificent water view. Definitely one of my favorite places has become dine when I go to the shore. A bit from the promenade, but worth the ride.
Good, real food. You can really taste the charcoal from the grill that is beautiful. I would recommend a sauce for your steak if you want more taste. Menu is not very extensive, but it does not have to be. Service was also great.
To dinner tonight. I had the White Peach Sangria, which was very refreshing. I had shrimp cocktail and a special NY Strip steak with baked Mac n cheese and green beans. Hubby had a ham and bean soup and a Lobster, Shrimp and Clam Special Pasta. The shrimp cocktail was a little overcooked, but still okay. The steak was cooked perfectly to med rarely and the Mac n cheese was one of the best I ever had. The green beans were light green and crisp. My husband enjoyed the soup and the pasta special, but was very disappointed that they did not have bread with the pasta even when he asked. We also asked for a window seat, but said they were reserved. When we were gone, there were several window tables empty.
The food was good and the portions were large and the prices certainly increased. We need to burden the inflation we are currently experiencing and possibly the costs of maintaining a staff. I feel that $80 for lunch for 2 is a bit high, but it's a nice place to meet with friends.
Waitstaff was pleasant and our waiter went above and beyond. The scallop appetizer was delicious! My burger with lobster on the specials was fine, but not up to their usual delicious burgers. My friends fish and chips looked and smelled delicious, which she said it was. Overall always a good experience.
