Pizza religion masterminds have actually thought it with quality and point of difference in mind. It's in the top end in terms of price but I believe it justifies. Yummy pizzas with unusual toppings, very thin crust, perfectly cooked. Strongly recommended.
The newest in a small chain of these boutique Pizza restaurants. Quality and serves are good. Prices are moderate. Staff attentive. Fully licenced. Easy parking at night.
We were served the worst pizza I have ever seen in my 40 years in Melbourne. The toppings were burnt to a crisp (both pizzas) till unrecognisable ... and of course inedible ! This venue was where LIVINGROOM used to be, and that was without a shadow of doubt, one of the best restaurant (Top 3 material) we have eaten in Melbourne. This put a sour note to the venue. Nothing more to say - the pictures tell the whole story. It's like someone forgot the pizzas were in the oven, but they still served then to us when they eventually took them out !!
Service was great; our waitress was very quick with drinks and food. But the food and drinks were not great - the options for wine were very limited (a verbal list given only as Shiraz, Pinot noir and Tempranillo - no winery!) and the Shiraz we were served was not enjoyable at all.Pizzas were thin with crispy bases but the toppings were not particularly delicious. The margheritas were overcooked, so the cheese was dry and hard. The mushroom, taleggio and thyme pizza (described as topped with roasted mushrooms) was not juicy as we hoped, but incredibly dry given the very thinly sliced mushrooms had been pre-cooked and then completely dried out in the pizza oven. The taleggio was almost completely missing in action, but the presence of thyme was strong. Both the mushroom and the meatball pizzas were drizzled with a thick balsamic reduction which made them overly sweet and unpleasant. We shared a cabbage, mint and pecorino salad. This was bland and desperately in need of salt and acid - and chilli would have been welcome too. We didn't finish any of our plates. The dining room comprises closely spaced tables and is all hard surfaces, all the better to reflect the noisy clientele - several birthday parties and families on the Tuesday night we visited.Do yourself a favour and visit Mr Wolf instead - not far in distance but miles apart in quality.
This is a good spot for family dining. We were here early on a mid week evening with siblings
