Tapa King - Malate

Tapa King Vito Cruz Branch sucks!  Let me share a story on why this branch sucks..  One morning, my boyfriend and I decided to eat breakfast at Tapa King Vito Cruz Branch.  So while waiting for our turn to order, we noticed that their manager and one of the staff was kind of arguing and fixing something on the orange juice dispenser. I think something is stuck on the faucet's dispenser or it is broken or something.  Lo and behold, the Branch Manager dipped his whole arm inside the juice dispenser (yes, the dispenser is full with orange juice) to "fix" it!! Since he (Branch Manager) is aware that we saw what he did, he told his staff to just replace the juice.  Quite shocked, we decided to just order bottled water along with our Tapa meals.  While waiting for our orders, we are also waiting and praying for the juice to be replaced.  But.... Sad to say, the orange juice in which the Branch Manager soaked his arm was never replaced. :( Long story short, we never dine at Tapa King Vito Cruz branch ever again.

Tapa Queen is okay. By the way, when they pack their food it makes the food exponentially unappealing to the eyes noh? Hehe I just do hope they develop a better tasting recipe for Tapa Queen. I mean if it's just served sweet it's scrumptious but if they cook it with chilis without actually thinking of proportions for taste.. The food becomes eh.

I liked this branch. Unlike the one near the office, the vegetable here retains the crisp and freshness. I enjoyed the Garlic Kangkong, and Pork Sinigang. The Tapa King is still good. The accompanying fried egg is too oily for my liking. The service is generally fast, and the interior is neat.
