Korean Village Restaurant - Malate

This has been recommended to me by my partner if I wished for an authentic Korean food they visit the place to dinner and decided to order jjampong from the menu. absolutely delicious staff was also very attentive and polite.

My child favorites Korean restaurant. we've eaten almost every week. feels nostalgic! tho the beef stew is quite different na. great service, as always.

This is one of the restaurants that we have literally visited since my visit, I think that this location is their third around malate area, as they have opened the bark stew, is their best seller for me, as well as the bbq huh and pork that they can cook before them. when the time had passed, some of the recipes were tweeted, I guess because it wasn't as delicious as what reminded it to be. but overall, it's like eating that one has eaten since childhood.

Didn't even take pictures. The moment I stepped in, I had a bad feeling about this place. True enough, it was not very good. Meat looked and smelled rancid. The place is dingy and looks depressingly shabby. Service was also not the best. The staff tried to be friendly, but were not attentive and had lame rules on side dishes. Head over to Makchang instead. You might be paying more but at least its worth it.

One of the worst korean bbq restaurants i have dined in Staff was very vague with the rules of refilling the sides. Kept asking other waiters and only acknowlegded us when we decided to order more But maybe we were just eating too much kimchi The pork had an old smell to it. Was very stinky and some of them were greenish already.
