We had the famous Babi ponteh, who is this decorated pig bell and it was so rich and tasty with the warm white rice. The Belachan (Shrimp Chilipaste) Kang Kong was super tasty and we loved every bite. The chicken soup was very tasteful with many delicious ingredients in it. And the assam sting jet was nicely cooked, with lady finger and it was absolutely delicious. The fish was sold at 5:30 when we were there. The ordering system was great as it was online, taxes apply.
The service is fantastic and the food tastes great! In the future, will in any case eat again;
Good food. Many choices to choose from. Authentic and non-commercial. They have the right technique to focus on their foods instead of marketing them. Definitely a place you shouldn't miss. An explosion with the Sambal belacan. This is my first time and I am very happy. In fact, exaggerated. Malaccan is the legit. Don't miss it.
I'm a tourist from two states. My mother grew up in a family of Nyonya. She likes it, especially the Assam fish and Sambal Petai Prawn. Sunday at 11.45. The place was just a little crowded. Book during lunchtime.
Of the five nyonya restaurants we tried, this was one of the two best. The fish dish was good, though the texture of stingray might be a bit of an acquired taste; I liked it, but if you want to play it safe perhaps get the snapper instead. The minced pork in a wrapper and fried was our favourite, great little snack. The veggies were nicely spiced; we asked for a less oily version than normal, and they were happy to oblige. The chicken curry was fine, but not particularly memorable. Would definitely go here again to try more dishes.
