Sin See Tai - Malacca

Came here for the cakes and donuts. Donuts are not your typical diabetes-inducing full-of-sugar type, they are way healthier. But it does reduce the taste. I'd say the lemon meringue is the best, the rest are so-so. I'll probably not buy them again because it's not worth the walk to get there. The seating area is upstairs and u have to climb up this ridiculously tiny staircase to get there. Wouldn't recommend dining in for anyone above 60 because the steps are so small

What a surprise to find this hole in a wall cafe. It's nested in a tiny alley and one would easily pass without noticing it. The inside is tiny on the first floor but there is an extended room on the second floor with air conditioning and comfortable clean seatings. The pastries are very delicious and fresh we even ordered a second round. Coffee was great, the espresso was really well done, albeit the coffee beans they used is a little acidic. Crowd builds up quickly after we came. Many thumbs up and highly recommended.

Accidentally found this cafe walking by, took a break from coffee and tried their recommended refresher which was amazing. All of the pastries looked phenomenal, I ended up choosing a focaccia which was great. The ice cream, popsicles and menu items such as kimchi grilled cheese sounded was diverse for all peoples tastes. For coffee buffs, they use Marzocco. I sat outside the front and enjoyed the people watching on this quiet and cosy street. Ended up unexpectedly getting a t-shirt and some pins as souvenirs.

Love this Ondeh-ondeh cake,not too sweet for me. They have a small cozy seating areas upstairs. Definitely will visit again for their coffees which we yet to try.

Had three items here: Chai Latte: if it has a stronger spice taste it would be good. But i rarely see this on menu so was glad. Lemon Yuzu Tart: was a little too sweet for my liking, but tart shell was nicely made. Ice Latte: nice coffee! The 2 guy staff are kind, soft spoken and that fits the ambience they created for this cafe i wont like if everyone speaks too loudly like marketplace in such setting. The stairs up to second floor is steep, so may not be suitable to young children, elderly and people wearing very short skirt or pants.
