When the story of PERi-PERi began, there was no turning back. Originating in the rich soils of southern Africa where African birds feasted on ripe chillies, known as PERi-PERi, this spice quickly became a favorite in local cuisine. Portuguese explorers, drawn to its bold flavor, added lemon and garlic to create the first PERi-PERi sauce when they arrived in Mozambique centuries ago. This sauce became a staple, especially when paired with grilled chicken. The secret PERi-PERi recipes were closely guarded within families, but the spirit of sharing good food and laughter was always held dear by the Portuguese. Two friends in Johannesburg were so taken by the unique taste of PERi-PERi chicken that they decided to bring it to the masses, and thus Nando's was born.
The beef rib bucket is fantastic, juicy, and delicious in true Tony Roma style. Unfortunately, it is no longer available in Singapore, which is a disappointment. Although on the pricier side, it is definitely worth the money. The service is good, although the young and inexperienced waitstaff struggled to anticipate the needs of our two young children.
Definitely one of my favorite Fast Food Outlet. prefer the chicken here compared to the other fast food outlets. You also love the ambience in the restaurant that made the entire dinning process an unpredictable experience.
Love the food, they were nicely cooked and well done. Staff were friendly and service was fast. They have a washing area which I find really convenient before and after meal. But the sauces were limited. They only had a few bottles of dipping sauce available. When we were there, they were all taken by other customers and the only sauce left was the hottest sauce.
