Jones Fish Camp - Maiden

Even if they were just reopened and got a new owner. I still leave it a star because I had found glass or plastic in my burger from the past experience and I had never had any problems with this place until this day. if it goes well again, I will be ready to change my review, but now I will leave it like that.

Great food however I went at night so it was slow but I also had a big party so that problem offsets great service and the staff is familiar with my family

Jones has always been an icon, with the greatest food, service, people...until now. Firstly, the prices lists online are totally bogus. I went on Wed. when website said small perch plate was 6.95. Three days later, site says 8.50. I actually got charged 11.95 for it. Second, although the waitress was sweet, she was totally incompetent. She didn't approach me at the counter right away, even though it was close to closing and place basically empty. She was standing behind another counter for a few minutes. While she was ringing up my total, she kept saying, no, that's not right and changed the amount. I added a tip, then she tells me I'm getting charged almost 2.00 for using a card. My food was cold. Not hot. Not warm. Cold. And it was not good. Tartar sauce basically pickles with enough mayo to hold together.Used to be great with 1/3 each of pickles, onions, and mayo. I heated it and it was a little better, but still bad. Place has really gone to the dogs. I won't go back again.
