Smiling Pelican Bake Shop - Maiden Rock

Smiling Pelican's Warm out-of-the oven bread and cookies this morning are going to be scrumptious! Baking activity and a ginger bread mansion raffle were captured at 9:30am and a blue reindeer was spotted in the bakery porch. How cool is this?????

The best baked goods on the west coast of Wisconsin! It's a must-visit if you're in Maiden Rock!

Wow! During our first visit to Smiling Pelican Bakery on a fall leaf drive this past Saturday, we were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be returning. It’s a charming little bakery with a lovely front porch that would be great to sit on. Unfortunately, it was raining, so we couldn’t explore the garden area, but it looked adorable and well-kept from what we could see. The smell of freshly baked bread and pastries was incredibly inviting even before we stepped inside! The cookies are large, homemade, and delicious at a very reasonable price. Although we didn’t buy any bread, it looked and smelled incredible. We also picked up a muffin that was homemade and quite good, and it was reasonably priced as well! We arrived early, so we didn’t have to wait long, but by the time we left, the line was already out the door, and it’s easy to see why! It’s definitely worth the trip.
