Original Pancake House - Madison

I always have a fantastic breakfast here and I've never been disappointed with my choices. The loaded hash browns are amazing!

I absolutely love this place! I can't praise the food enough—it's simply the best. Even though I'm not typically a fan of pancakes, I would happily eat anything they serve here.

I had never been to this restaurant before, but it had the cozy vibe of a local diner. A long wait at 10 a.m. is a good sign that everyone knows it's a popular spot. I ordered the combo plate with the classic pancakes, while my partner tried the spinach crepe with potato pancakes for her first time. We left feeling full and satisfied. I'm definitely planning to return to try some of the more unique pancake options. The best part? The bill! We just moved to Madison from Oklahoma, and this was the first—possibly the only—meal where we felt like we were undercharged.

I just love this place so much! It never disappoints. The service and food is always terrific! It's always busy and always worth the wait!
