Agriturismo Alpe Burki - Macugnaga

I walked to the viewpoint between fog and snow, but then stopped at this farm where I warmed up and ate very well: macignaghese pasta, pastry polenta, blueberry tart, mulled wine and grappa, all made by them. Too bad that the bad weather ruined the party, very recommended local.

Excellent lunch with typical dishes of good quality. to have lunch outside you have to book because it is always full. very kind staff and abundant portions.

We had polenta and meat. The meat was overcoocked, hard as a stone and no taste. My wife got also stomach pain in the evening. We wont be coming back.

I visited with some friends who live in the area. We were there to take photographs of the area, and stopped for a late lunch. The food was amazing, and then one of the proprietors gave us a tour of her cheese-making facility. I got amazing photos, amazing food, AND amazing photos OF food!
