Leylam Shawarma - Mabalacat

This is the worst Shawarma Ive ever tasted. It doesn't taste like Shawarma at all. They use cheap mayo, sweet sauce that tastes like water, flour and brown sugar. The meat and sauce are not spiced. I don't know how they got the nerve to call that stuff shawarma. They also have this shawarma meat mixed in noodles or rice. The most disgusting shawarma combination I've ever seen.

Just had a shawarma at Leylam's. It was okay. Nothing special about it. I would say it's a bit pricey for a shawarma that does not taste authentic. It costs 75php. I would call it a wrap.

I eat the shawarmas here regularly and although not nearly authentic they do the job. Conveniently located on the ground floor of SM Hypermarket in Mabalacat, Leylam's offers great prices and a small but select menu of Middle Eastern cuisine. Grab one or two for the trip home or while shopping and enjoy.
