Bangkok Thai Brasserie - Luxembourg

Food is great, service isn 't. They often forget stuff when ordering online and there 's no chance of getting a refund/getting it sent. The lady with whom we talked on the phone didn 't speak French and spoke such little English that we said 'sorry, I don 't understand, can you please repeat that? ' like 5 times until we finally gave up and hang up without knowing whether she had said she would send us back what she had forgotten to put in our order or not. To this day, we have not received the missing part of our order, so who knows what the lady said? Overall, it 's a real shame, cause the food is really good and prices are decent for Lux, but they should really do something to improve their service.

The food was good, but service sucks. The lady who took the order and served the food was doing her make up in the mirror while she was asking me what I would drink. An Asian restaurant should not serve in tea bags and also charge 3 Euros. Serve sucks, tea is not proper.

I really wanted to like this place as it is so close to my office. However, I have lived in Bangkok for more than 5 years and love all types of food. What I was served here was good to eat but not authentic. Their lunch menu is reasonably priced (for Luxembourg city). I ordered the simple yet delicious (if done right) Pad Kaprao with chicken which is stir fried chicken with basil. I do understand that not all ingredients from Thailand are available to prepare the food and I don’t mind them adding mushrooms or zucchini to this dish when normally there shouldn’t be but what I do mind is: 1. it’s more of a dry dish and should not be bathing in sauce 2. I requested Thai spicyness level but could barely feel any heat 3. spicyness was achieved through the Sweet Chili sauce used so often in Europe. Now, this should not be in this dish. Real and fresh chili should be used and for extra spicyness, chilies with garlic in fish sauce should be served on the side. The rice was good and the food was also good in its own, it just wasn’t what was advertised. What I ate could be a dish in any plain standard Chinese restaurant in Europe. The staff at the counter and taking the order were Thai and should definitely know that what they are serving does not resemble the least the food you would be served in Thailand. Please, please just make the food as close as possible to the real thing, most people don’t want a Europeanized version of Asian food. Sadly, my quest for authenticity continues and while searching, cooking at home is still far better than anything I’ve tried so far..

One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Luxembourg. Been ordering from here for years. Also had meals at the restaurant itself. Great green curry, nice Pad Thai, and great papaya salad. The mango sticky rice dessert is amazing. Doesn’t seem to always be available though when I order for delivery. I wish it was! Overall, a great place. I definitely recommend it.

Delicious food with vegetarian/vegan options. Meat dishes also delicious. Friendly and quick service.
