The only downside is that they never seem to have the lentil soup available, despite my constant craving for it. Additionally, they are not always punctual with their opening hours - I once tried calling at 12pm with no answer. However, I still highly recommend this restaurant. They are willing to accommodate vegan requests and can prepare a delicious dish with rice upon request.
This Arabian restaurant is one of my favorites. I was sad when my meal was over, but I will definitely be coming back. The staff is decent and quick, and Moudi even gives out free sweets. They offer ten marked vegan options, two of which, Muhammara and Falafels, contain dairy products. You can also order a vegan Moussakah, which is very reasonably priced. I highly recommend trying the lentil soup, Batata Harra, and grilled salad. The grilled salad, made with pomegranate, pepper, onion, and aubergine with vinegar, was the best I've ever had. The lentil soup had a nice sweet touch and was delicious with fried pita. The Batata Harra was mild and reminded me of Tandoori. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
I ordered the falafel plate as a vegan option, but it turned out not to be vegan. It had a strange oily taste, so I left most of the muhammara on the plate. When I mentioned this to the waiter, he confirmed that it contained cheese. He explained that there is a vegan version available, but did not apologize for the mistake. Instead, he brought out two pieces of baklava as compensation, which I later found out were made with butter pastry. Trying to make up for one mistake by making another does not make me want to return to this restaurant.
This Arab restaurant is one of my favorites. I was sad when my meal was finished, but I will definitely be coming back. The staff is friendly and efficient, and Moudi even gives out complimentary candy. There are ten vegan options available, two of which are labeled as vegan but contain milk products (Muhammara and Falafels). You can also try the vegan Moussakah, which is very reasonably priced. I highly recommend the lentil soup, Batata Harra, and grilled salad. The grilled salad, with its combination of pomegranate, pepper, onion, and eggplant with vinegar, was especially delicious. The lentil soup had a unique sweet note and was even better when paired with fried pita. The Batata Harra had flavors reminiscent of Tandoori but was mild. Overall, a great dining experience that I definitely recommend trying.
I ordered the falafel plate as a vegan option, but unfortunately, it was not vegan. I noticed a strange oily taste and realized that the Muhammara had cheese in it. I gave feedback to the waiter, who acknowledged that there was a mistake in the kitchen. However, I was disappointed that he did not apologize. As a gesture of compensation, he brought two pieces of baklava, but I later discovered that they were also made with butter flaky pastries. Trying to make up for a mistake with another mistake is not acceptable. Overall, I was not pleased with the experience and do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
