Dan's Steak House - Luray

Good steak and good service. Delicious steak better then Texas steakhouse per gentleman who raises beef. He said it had a good flavor. He said it also takes a certain amount of fat to make a good steak. He rated the 20 ounce ribeye as very good for store bought steak. Green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy good per farm boy. So that is a big plus in my eyes. The beef brisket and cole slaw was also very good.

I placed an order online for the meal for two. Someone called saying they weren 't taking online orders so I asked if I could order over the phone. She said yes, but it 's an hour and a half wait . I said that 's fine. Upon arriving to pick up my order, my son was told they were out of chicken breast so they substituted it with chicken tenders. I would have never paid $43 for tenders to begin with but they were stringy, burned and very thin. Very disappointed in the food.

Dan's steakhouse is ? amazing! The food is amazing and the service is great also the wait time for the food is iffy but remember it's fine dining not McDonald's ? anyway i recommend Dan's Steakhouse the prime rib is so damn tasty ? Got fresh hot biscuits while we waited for a table. Food was great! Recommend the hamburger steak and Ribeye. Our kids loved the mozzarella sticks.
