Ristorante Vetta - Lugano

Das Essen war enttäuschend! Ich hatte einen Grünen Salat-zuviel Sauce und nicht lecker...Das Hauptgericht: Polenta mit Steinpilzen-die Steinpilze waren wässrig und hatten keinen Geschmack! Teure Preise-keine Qualität-ohne Liebe zubereitet!!! Das einzig schöne war die wundervolle Aussicht auf den Lago die Lugano....

The restaurant is located on the San Salvatore mountain and offers a unique view of Lake Lugano, surrounded by mountains and forests and villages and villages around the lake. We grilled vegetables for dinner. The eggplants were raw, pepper... better, Courgettes so. The gnocchi floated in a Gorgonzola sauce was simply terrible, sticky, no salt in them or in the sauce. No taste of Gorgonzola. We left the court unleashed. Never again. An expensive experience.

The views of this restaurant are stunning,i recommend going there at sunset, you should stay until it is dark to see the entire city view and enjoy a glass of wine/beer

Delicious homely Italian food tastes better when it comes with amazing view from the Top of Lugano. Booking is recommended for a seat on the terrace. Great Ambience. You need to Hop on the funicular to reach the restaurant.

Siamo tornati col mio compagno dopo un anno e devo dire che il Vetta San Salvatore e' sempre una sicurezza . Piatti ben curati , ben presentati e materia prima eccellente e sapientemente preparata . Siamo stati di sera e dopo un aperitivo in terrazza , siamo entrati nella veranda che offre sicuramente il piu' bel punto di vista di Lugano .La sera oltre la carta solita ,propongono anche una piccola carta serale con pochi piatti ma di eccellenza . Io ho provato il salmone selvaggio con burro all' avocado , semplicemente sublime . Il mio compagno un tradizionale tagliere ticinese molto ben presentato e di ottima qualita' . Abbiamo proseguito poi entrambi con 2 branzini in guazzetto con riso selvatico veramente da leccarsi i baffi !Un tiramisu' fatto in casa e servito nei vasetti di vetro ha completato la bellissima serata . Bianco di Merlot freddo ottimo accompagnamento . Spesa in linea con i prezzi del Ticino ... anzi direi meno che in molti locali del centro , dove la qualita' e' pero' decisamente inferiore .Assolutamente consigliato
