Ralph Kacoo's - Lufkin

Outside of building is falling apart, walk inside and there's a musky bad smell. Looks like they have installed new carpet but it isn't a carpet smell. We should have left but we didn't. Crab cakes were very salty and mealy, butterfly shrimp were overcooked, etuoffee tasted like it came out of a can and the rice was under cooked (crunchy). Red beans and rice had enough cayenne it made it too hot to eat. We were very disappointed, it has really gone down hill. Last we had to go find our server for the bill, apparently she was hiding out in the back party room. Don't get me wrong the 3 times we did see her she was very nice.

Food is excellent and atmosphere great. Our waitress was so as molasses, I could understand if it were packed. But it wasn't, we has look for her and asked for her twice. The place was quite empty for lunch.

Upscale decor, friendly staff and great food that is not a budget buster.

Nice evening to enjoy charbroiled oysters, steamed shrimp and stuffed mushrooms ? live music on the patio just made everything that much better! ??? Great place! Great food! Great atmosphere!

Went there to hear Joe sing.Had one beer then we left (been elsewhere before) Joe was dang good
