Great place, food delicious. Staff was nice and efficient. Definitely going back.
I had the teriyaki tofu which was sooo good but there was not enough! I believe it was around 12 or 13 dollars and I only got three triangle slices, so that was disappointing. The hibachi rice was alright but very different than all the other ones I've had before. My husband was not a fan of his hibachi steak or rice and his portions were very small as well and cost around 15-18 dollars-can't recall exactly. Maybe this place is better for sushi lovers, which we are not, unfortunately. Our entrees also came with salads which were good. I picked up our food and the worker who assisted me was very sweet. She even ran out to my car in the rain after I left because she forgot to give me the hibachi sauce! Now that is service.
I have eaten at this restaurant many times and it saddens me to write this review. It has always been good which is why it has survived the pandemic and has been open for many years in the same location. But today at lunch the food was not good at all. The sushi was tasteless and even the sushi rice was pasty and of poor quality. The udon noodles had no taste whatsoever. Even the hot sauce could not help. Maybe it was an aberration and the chef was having a bad day but it was disappointing because my meals here have always been excellent. Wondering if the quality has gone down overall or was this just a one off experience
I ordered curry katsu and it was too salty for me. The sushi was okay, but a bit expensive.
