Rumors Raw - Louisville

1st time coming here will definitely return! Wings were very yummy! They aren’t big like they advertise them to be but they are tasty! The shrimp basket was very good! Wife got the Philly Steak sandwich was great as well! It was a little pricey $47) but you have to expect that nowadays. Also took a little while to get the food but server was sweet. I will definitely be back for those wings! May even order 20 next time!

Loved this restaurant in every aspect… We came on a very busy night with a large party including three children and we’re still taken well care of… Anthony was amazing! The food was excellent across-the-board and the fresh oysters were large and tasty… Everything Anthony suggested was spot on. Nice job with a complicated table on a busy night! We will be back!

Although I’ve lived in Louisville my whole life I have to say this was my first time eating at rumors! The food is out of this world. I had the fish sandwich with fries no bread and it was three huge pieces of fish I had leftovers to take home for dinner! I set at the bar and watched the cook!!!! he was amazing he was fantastic he was poetry in motion watching him prepare all this food fresh! If you have not been there go! It is my new go to place for fish and everything else! I cannot wait to go back and try other items from the menu! My next one will be the clam chowder. It’s made from scratch! One of my best dining experiences in a long while!!!

Best grilled grouper I ever had it, and I just came back from Destin Florida, so I know my grouper. It wasn't dry. The seafood gumbo was delicious, but I would rather have shrimp and fish in it than the crustaceans and sausage. The crab legs were great, never had a bad bite. The fried oyster basket was good. We are happy to have finally found a good fish restaurant in Louisville. We will soon be real again!!!

What a nice surprise to find seafood in Louisville, KY! Our first experience there, but it will not be our last. A tropical frozen drink and you'll think you're on vacation. The grouper was excellent, the shrimp was great and there was a lot of going home with us. Can't wait to come back to the New Zealand mussels and crab legs. The relaxed, retro-beach atmosphere was fun (and I'm sure many of the clientele have been visited since their opening 30 years ago). Our server was wonderful, well trained by the menu and very attentive. We'll ask her when we go back. No, I don't share her name. Find your own!
