Shame on us for staying. When we finally got our food it was horrible. When I went up to pay, I once again complained. The waitress agreed with my complaints saying that we should not have to pay for the horrible service and meal. The waitress got Darlene Hendricken who she said was the owner. She came out, looked at me and said "you still have to pay". Never once did I say I wasn't going to pay but just explain what horrible disgusting service we had. The so called owner was very unprofessional and never once cared about our horrible experience. All she cared about was making a buck. It's obvious that she not only doesn't care about the customer, she doesn't care about her staff. Shame on you for putting your staff in a position where they could not properly wait on tables. If you can't handle the Mother's day guests that you accepted reservations for, you should not be booking. It was obvious that you overbooked. It was all about the buck not the service. You are a selfish business owner to your customers and your staff. Your business is not going to last long with this attitude and with the help of social media, the word will be spread. The lack of respect that we received when talking to the owner, leaves me no choice but wanting to share my horrible experience. As a paying customer, I do feel entitled to respectful customer service and this establishment lacked. The bathrooms were untidy . No toilet paper or paper towels. Oh, BTW, the man who staggered in was briskly served a beer...go figure!
Dropped by last Sunday just past noon. The place was jumping as per usual Sunday brunch crowd. I was a few minutes late for breakfast so settled for daily special, pork chops and mushroom gravy. Very good. Had dessert too, chocolate cake with coconut icing. Decadent.
Ordered burger love with out sauces ( due to stomach issues) .was told by the owner that they wouldn't serve it without sauce..I asked to have the sauce on the side..they told me that wouldn't be burger love! I told them I have stomach issues but they still would not serve me what I wanted...so I ordered a beef stir fry...easily the worst stir fry I have ever eaten! Returned 80% plus of it to the kitchen. the waitress was a delight..she gets my one star...needless to say my last time there.Next time serve your customers what they ask for--how they want it prepared- and what they pay for! Cost close to $20 ( tip included) for a meal that was terrible.
This is a home cooking style little restaurant out in the country open all year round , but situated on a 9 hole golf course for summer exercise. Breakfast is great, changed the choice of potato option with breakfast,,but everything else great. Service is reasonably good, very busy around end of church times on Sunday's. Nice drive to get there, if you want to enjoy the way
This is a good spot for casual wear especially if you want to do a few rounds of golf. It is set out in the country so it is nice and quiet, very rustic. A nice dinning room but just so you know there is a pool room next to it so some may not like it. The food is good, the best gravy and wings in town, fries are good too. A very friendly spot offering a good menu, friendly staff, good service and lots of parking. We loved it, we had the roast beef dinner and it was as if my mom had made it, yum, yum!
