Laurie's Country Kitchen

Food is excellent. However a Sunday morning breakfast with 1 1/2 servers made for a bit of a wait.Sign on the door said cash or tap only,so they seem to have taken everything.

Yesterday we had a private function at Laurie's Country Kitchen.They prepared a beautiful roast beef dinner with all the trimmings for over 40 people.The food was delicious and the wait staff were fabulous.Highly recommend this charming spot.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Breakfast was very bland, sausage tasted like it was reheated from prepackaged, eggs were dry, pancake seemed like just a pancake mix, and the “pan fried” potatoes were probably just microwaved. Restaurant was far from clean, the sticky floors and horror show fridge/storage room when we walked in should’ve been the sign for us to turn around and leave. Coffee was underwhelming but the toast was decent.

The food was so great at Laurie's Country Kitchen! We were on our way to Greenwich Dunes for a hike and looking for a tasty place to stop and we found it! The service was splendid, the cafe very quaint, and the food was delicious. After placing our order I could hear the cook reciting our order that's how quant it was . . My husband had the club sandwich and added his fave condiment honey mustard. It came with more crispy fries than the two of us together could eat bountiful! I had the Tex Mex salad and had my sauces on the side it was unusual and tasty. It don't usually order my salads with crispy chicken and didn't realize that's what this one had, but it was a nice treat which I deserve every once in awhile, right? Be sure to ask for grilled if you prefer it that way. They didn't have the chocolate eclair that I saw in the google review so I passed on dessert, but if it was anything like the lunch I'm sure it would have been really good, too. We highly recommend! I couldn't find the menu in any of the other reviews so am adding it with my review.

Always a great meal at Laurie's. Fast and friendly service. Great portions. Great food. Eat dessert first, because if you wait til after your entrée, you'll be full!
