Los Gatos Lodge

The restaurant is in poor condition, with most of the staff only doing the bare minimum. The room we were in was dirty, with our puppy finding food on the floor. There was an ant problem in our bathroom, along with pincher bugs and a spider in the window. Housekeeping only restocked the room for our arrival and used our own supplies to clean. We had to clean the room ourselves during our stay. There were also safety concerns, such as a screen door locking on the outside and missing safety equipment. The overall experience was disappointing and it seems that the new owners have let the restaurant decline. The only redeeming qualities were the grounds, breakfast, and pool, but even the grounds were littered with trash that the staff ignored.

This restaurant in serious need of a interior update. The dining area was average and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning unit was a wall unit, not central air, and was quite loud. The pool was decent but lacked chairs and umbrellas for guests. It was quite hot (93-100 degrees) during my stay and there were no chairs or umbrellas for shade. Breakfast was offered in a to-go bag to bring back to your room and coffee was available in the lobby. If I return to Los Gatos, I will choose a different place to stay.

The staff at the restaurant was amazing. The rooms were a little old-fashioned, but still better than we expected considering the very affordable price. The location is excellent, only about a 25-minute drive from Santa Cruz and the Mystery Spot.

Nothing was open there so I think they should drop the rate. The manager there was great rooms could use an update. Their TV system stunk. I did like the surroundings it's peaceful just needs a little help.

No great experience. this place needs a lot of updating and cleanliness. old ac. when switching on blows black dust on the kissen. mülleimer was super full for the building and nobody cleaned it. spinnen im room. changed room found still spinnen. the children said it resembles shitz creek. did not expect this in los gatos.
