This place is a gem! Their soup broth is delicious. Even my picky nephew and 6 month old even ate the soup and loved it. We don't live in Los Angeles, but next time we are in town...WE WILL BE BACK!!!
My top place for tasty Korean food. Next time I'll be back with my friends. Prices are reasonable I would say. I see why this place has a lot of good reviews.
The rice cakes were totally delicious. I ordered the second to most spiciest, and still that was a little too spicy for me to fully enjoy and I enjoy very spicy food. Next time I would probably go for less spicy just so I could savor the dish by itself more. Also its definitely more than enough to share between two people, so keep that in mind when ordering. The restuarant itself is tiny, but cozy and feels hip, in an area of the city that's fun to walk around in after your meal. Definitely reccomend checking this place out!
The quality is top notch. i especially loved the tempura veg. the sauce is sweet, even though i got challenge spice. I'll admit i was expecting something different but it still earned 5 stars. the bowl is gigantic and enough for 2 people to really fill up or even 4 or more reasonable portions. when you look at it that way, its a good deal. like seriously if you eat the whole thing, you are a big eater for sure. i thought the service was very very good. im surprised to see negative reviews. i wouldn't say this is my favorite food, i prefer old school home cooked Korean food, but i still want to try it again when im in the mood. the spicy was definitely super hot but not deadly like reaper spice (but close, be warned) i really want to return and try chicken feet.
