Yaki Q La - Los Angeles

We were looking for dinner before our show in the pantages. we should have parked in our prepaid parking lot and walked to the hotel, but we were not sure how long we were going. the hotel is beautiful. we parked, the participant was extremely helpful. directly to the 5th floor pool/outside restaurant, large table overlooking the city. the service was limited and we were a little worried to arrive in time to show. Once we ordered, it came to eat quickly and delicious. that was difficult. we had to look at the recipe to pay for the valet, there was only one person checked in the people so it was a waiting period. they should let them pay the valet outside. that was my only complaint.

A beautiful perch above the city and the server warm and attentive. The food- almost every dish- was seriously disappointing. It was over fried, over flavored and too much sugar in every dish. The menu is ambitious and I hope they are able to improve the quality.

Our reservation time ran late because they were short staffed but it was ok with us because it’s such a nice place to sit and talk. Once we were able to order everything was PERFECT. Food was delicious, service was great, prices are good. Can’t wait to go back.

Chef Jeff and his staff were outstanding! Food was delicious! Going back East with a big smile on my face for having discovered this jewel!
