Great place with a fun atmosphere. The employees are very hospitable and quick to serve.
I was a little worried going here because I 've always known Irish Pubs to be bigger on drinking than eating and I 'm no drinker, and I feel I don 't look like the typical patron. Also, we didn 't have reservations. Shockingly, after finding one of a few actual eating tables inside (all were taken outside yet not many people were eating? we sat and ordered. Ordering: You have to get up from your table and order from the humongous bar which we didn 't know. Epic bar! It's like Cheers! But better! Our very own watering hole walkable from our home and blocks from where I grew up. We pop in weekly if not more. Friendly bartenders. Nick, Cindy and Natalia are the best and make great cocktails. The food is pretty solid. The Brussels sprouts are my candy crack. Love the chicken sandwich too. I'm not a beer girl but it's my favorite place to go in LA. Cool vibe. Historic little gem. And the shamrocks... I've been coming here since I was a kid. Maybe one day I will be on the wall.. or ceiling.. or on a beam... : #bucketlist #goals
In the 90s, this was my spot to hand out. After a decade I earned a shamrock in the ceiling. I've not been to Tom's since the new change in management, however I have such fond memories of it... they truly can't do wrong by me!
