The Vegan Joint West La (california Certified Green Business)

This is easily the best vegan food in LA. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting that at all. I was a bit hesitant to go in since there weren't many people inside, but it was during the day. I'm so glad I took the chance because it was absolutely worth it. The spring rolls were packed with flavor!

In the past month, I've ordered from here for myself and my sister about ten times. The menu is extensive, and it seems like they are a bit reluctant to use salt. I highly recommend the soy chicken tacos, fried soy chicken, pancakes, fries (which you can season to your liking), and the chow mein (but skip the tofu, as it lacks flavor and feels dried out). The best drink is definitely the Thai iced tea—it's fantastic! I order it with every meal. Just a heads up, it's best to opt for takeout, as parking can be a challenge unless you're willing to walk a block.

Unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. The tofu scramble was essentially just tofu topped with bacon bits and cheese. If I can easily prepare something at home, I don't believe I should be paying to eat it out. It lacked creativity. My partner ordered a breakfast burrito, and it was quite similar—just potatoes and tofu. While the flavor of both dishes was acceptable, I don't think they were worth the price. I wish the restaurant well and hope this feedback is helpful.

It was delicious and the people are friendly. I would definitely go back again. The hot dumplings was really good. We ordered twice. The herbal tea was really good too! Try it out! They have many different types of hot herbal tea that helps likesleeping, heart care, thirsty and many more.

This is a lovely vegan restaurant with a wide variety of delicious options. While it was slightly on the expensive side, I understand that this is important for their business. I hope that high-quality vegan food becomes more affordable across the country in the future.
