Summer Buffalo - Los Angeles

Summer Buffalo was introduced to me by one of my bestfriends but we ordered from their Burbank location. So happy that this location is located near me.

On an Ocean of Thai restaurants, this restaurant follows a classic formula that creates a successful business: family owned and operated along with quality ingredients that are cooked on the spot instead of pre-cooked food. This Thai spot is a hidden gem right around the corner from my house! I've driven by it so many times but never knew it was a Thai spot until I was feeling the cuisine for lunch one weekend. We were able to order online and then pick it up pretty quickly. Their prices are reasonable and they had some lunch specials even available on the weekend! The garlic chicken noodles was good with thin garlic noodles one one side and garlic chicken on the other side. Make sure to mix it up if you're ordering to go to get all the garlicky goodness! The pad see ew is really good, not egg heavy which I've found a lot of spots to be lately. The garlic green beans are delicious and crispy and the orange chicken lunch special hit the spot. It was more than enough for multiple meals for my husband and I and we look forward to getting it again soon!

The food is really good and they have a vegan/vegetarian menu. That being said, I wish they would pay more attention to a request for no egg in the food. I just experienced a second time requesting no egg in my pad thai order, and it came with egg. I cannot eat eggs so the food has to unfortunately go to waste.EDIT: I see another review on here from someone saying they had the same issue where egg was in their vegan dish. If you have this dietary restriction please double-check with the restaurant if you want your food to be safe.
