Subway - Los Angeles

The restaurant is quite spacious and tends to be busy. Even at 11:30 PM, there were numerous orders being taken, yet two staff members managed to keep up with the pace. My order was prepared quickly, and I was able to sit down in the restaurant to enjoy my wrap sandwich.

The staff here are friendly and the sandwiches are excellent! They truly understand the value of customer service!

The restaurant is well stocked, but I feel it lacks professionalism and customer service. It is concerning when a restaurant informs you that the restroom is not available, as a restroom is essential. Unfortunately, during our visit, the sandwich artist—who was Robert, the shift manager—did not wash his hands after handling money. Although he did wear gloves, he was putting on clean gloves with dirty hands. It’s worth mentioning that when we brought this to his attention, he respectfully washed his hands before preparing our sandwich.

This restaurant is open 24 hours and is situated less than half a mile from LAX. Typically, there are only two staff members working during the night, which isn't enough, especially since it can get quite busy between 11 PM and 2 AM. It would be beneficial to have at least one additional employee during those peak hours.

I arrived at 8 AM and explicitly mentioned that I would be purchasing a sandwich and needed to use the restroom, which the employee had just exited. After he made my sandwich and while I was paying, I asked again to use the restroom. He then launched into a lengthy explanation that I couldn't understand and informed me that it was unavailable. This was quite disappointing, especially since I was the only customer there and had clearly stated my intentions before ordering.
