Subway - Los Angeles

This location is pricier than your average Subway, and they do not accept coupons.

To top it off, the employee offered me a small cup of Coke for free since I was a bit short on cash. I left him a dollar tip because I truly prefer paying a little extra to eat at this location, especially since it's conveniently situated in Union Station. I don’t mind dealing with the occasional homeless individuals around the transit center here, especially compared to other Subways where the staff can sometimes have a bad attitude. The worst experience I’ve had was at the Subway on Main, just south of Alameda, where they often act like they’re doing you a favor by serving you.

During busy hours, the restaurant has plenty of staff on hand, but the sandwich-making area is quite cramped, which causes delays when there’s a line. If you’re short on time, like needing to catch a bus or transfer from a train, I’d recommend avoiding this spot. I did try a sandwich here once, and it was made to my satisfaction.
