Sinister - Los Angeles

This is one of the few clubs I have visited in Los Angeles, and I always have a great time here. Sometimes we run into people we know when we come. You can smoke in the indoor side room, while the main room houses the bar. The bartenders are quick to serve your drinks. The dress code is strictly enforced, requiring all black attire. IDs are also strictly checked. I really enjoy this lovely gothic club, and the DJ plays great music.

A beautiful goth bar in the heart of Hollyweird. A must see for the dark night owl.

I was dressed in full goth makeup since my style is gothic, but the head security guy (a tall black man with braids in a ponytail) refused to let me in because of my dark grey skirt. He even made comments about my appearance. The other security guards seemed uncomfortable with his behavior as he continued to be overly strict. He claimed he was the only one in charge and insisted on criticizing my outfit. The restaurant should consider hiring a new head of security. Ladies might want to reconsider visiting this establishment while he is on duty.

Everyone at the bar was fun and resposible. I loved the music/ dj. We were lucky to see the charming Voltaire live. The performance stage is in a private courtyard which means when people are smoking it gets blown away quickly and the air quality was pretty good. We got the table service which was convenient for our party of 5 people.

This place charged me twice on drinks one the original price then they charged me again the next day with what I added with tip. So if you come here make sure to check your bank statements.
