Preux & Proper - Los Angeles

Came with a group of friends for Sunday brunch! eating was amazing as usual! I was here last year for dinner and it was delicious. we ordered the fried chicken waffles, huevos ranchero, horchata french toast, shrimp grits and chicken fried pork belly! we enjoyed everything. the service was great and the entire staff was very friendly. I'm sure I'm back!

We had a reservation, drove 45 minutes for them to say that they were closed earlier because it was not as busy as expected.

The place was ok. neither in his flair nor in his underpainted charm. eating seemed too expensive for what it was. can not really understand what it was trying to do. it is neither a trendy restaurant or a cool, relaxed water hole.

I love this place. that was my second time there and it was not disappointed. the service was excellent, eating was delicious, and the drinks were amazing. I'll be back and that's a promise.

The food is excellent here. Pleasantly surprised. Drinks took a bit too long to be delivered after ordering. The patio is a triangular spit that jets out and is bordered by two streets the sidewalks on either side are separated only by a hedge...it is not only noisy because of the cars going by (difficult to talk) also it's a long communal table the guy sitting next to us had a very long conversation on his phone not caring that it then became part of everyone elses experience.. sadly homeless people reach through the hedge asking for handouts recommend sharing with them actually.. and perhaps asking customer to not have long conversation on their phones at the communal table..
