Plateia at UCLA - Los Angeles

Everyone was super friendly, though they got my order wrong and it was really hard to keep bartender attention with only 2 others at the bar (already situated) the man who came for their middle layer but was very attentive and personal. eating is a bit overpriced for what they get, but I assume that the personal pays right that cannot be tipped.

It was great today, good service, good food, especially burger and quiet.

Had reservations… good thing since it was packed. Service was great. Food was good… didn’t mind paying for it. They discourage tipping.. that was fine… I’m glad they seem to pay their staff well.

I really enjoy this restaurant! The only thing I would suggest is adding more comfort food options. For example, a grilled cheese sandwich with American or pepper jack cheese on rye bread or a good quality bread. It would be great to see some nightly specials like roast chicken with baked potatoes or classic mac and cheese. Mixing up the menu a bit would cater to both students and the general public. A change in the menu is always refreshing!

Caesar salad used to be the best in the city, now they bastardized it: regular leafs, no flavor, dry, almost zero dressing. Horrible. Service is good but very slow.
