Pf Chang's Lax - Los Angeles

Great food and excellent service! I had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but the waiting area was quite chilly—seems like the air conditioning was on high. I ordered the vegetarian coconut curry for approximately $18, and the portion size was reasonable. My server, Shaunise, was very friendly and attentive, showing up just when I needed her. I would definitely come back here again, especially when I'm looking for something different from the usual airport fare of burgers and pizza.

Flying to Bangkok out of Tom Bradley International at LAX and wanted to try out my Priority Pass option here. I get a $30 credit per person up to 3 people total and it seems a lot of people were doing the same thing. I checked in at the hostess stand and was told it would be about a 30 minute wait which it was. It could've been faster because there were several empty tables that weren't filled and more that weren't cleaned. Once I was seated my server came quickly, took my order and was friendly enough. I had the hot sour soup and the Buddha's feast with brown rice. The soup was disappointing. It lacked all the ingredients for a proper hot sour soup and was basically a brown egg drop. The Buddha's feast was good and they made it spicy per my request. For a free light meal before I stuffed myself in business class this was fine but I wouldn't pay money for the wait or the soup again.

Enjoyed some good food here while waiting for our flight- that had been delayed. The prices weren't bad for LAX, and the seating allows for great views of the concourse at LAX. The food was quite good. I had Egg Drop Soup and my husband had Shrimp Dumplings. Our server Omar was okay- it seemed to us that most of the servers we heard communicating with other customers could have been more friendly attentive. Other than that, we had a great meal

The cuisine appears to be Asian, but the flavors are quite unlike anything I'm used to.

I would rate the food at this restaurant with 3 stars. While it's not bad, I found the bark and broccoli to be overly sweet, and the garlic beans were overcooked. On the other hand, I would give the service a solid 4 stars. The staff at the bar were very attentive and knowledgeable about the Priority Pass credits, and they handled the dining experience quickly and efficiently. I was tempted to rate the food higher, but it really is just average. That said, it is still edible. Overall, I recommend coming here for the excellent service, drinks, and as a great spot to relax before an international flight.
