Orochon Ramen - Los Angeles

I had lunch here and really enjoyed the spicy fried rice. The service was excellent; our waitress was very nice and friendly, and our food arrived quickly.

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and it was absolutely fantastic! The broth allows you to choose from various levels of spiciness; I opted for a 4, which turned out to be just right. The noodles were to die for—almost perfect. They're cooked just right, not too firm, which is something I've experienced with other places. The selection of toppings is also impressive. I highly recommend the dumplings; they were wonderful. I also tried another appetizer that I can’t quite name, but it was intriguing and delicious!

Moreover, the service left much to be desired. The staff didn't offer us any drink refills, and we had to ask for them ourselves. Additionally, I was disturbed by the state of the restroom. It truly needs attention; there was graffiti on the walls and an unpleasant odor that reminded me of a bar restroom. The owner should really take the time to clean it up and address these issues. Overall, it was not a pleasant dining experience.

Make sure you come when they open! The service was fast and the group I was able to enjoy dishes quickly prepared. Food was affordable and I loved the variety of shops around the restaurant. Can't wait to get back to some delicious takoyaki!

The best ramen I have tasted so far, it's so flavorful and the portions are good to share. The fried rice is the best fried rice I've ever had and I recommend ordering extra ginger with it, it compliments the dishes so well!!! However, it's is a bit pricey but I think it's worth it for some good ramen.
