This restaurant offers a modern twist on traditional Vietnamese cuisine, which makes it a good choice for those looking for something different. Initially, I was hesitant to try it because I usually have delicious home-cooked meals from my family. However, My Lai impressed me with their ability to blend traditional flavors with a unique twist. Overall, it's a reliable option for tasty Vietnamese food in West LA.
You can definitely see that the vegetables are freshly picked, and the chicken servings were generous. The variety of sauces was impressive. The gentleman assisting us tonight (11/6) was very accommodating. It felt like I was eating my mom's home-cooked meal; I can't think of higher praise than that.
I always give five stars to any place that serves dishes with crispy garlic topping. This restaurant is fantastic, with generous portion sizes.
This may be the best vegan banh mi I have ever tried. You can choose to have it made with Impossible "pork" or tofu.
