Incredible mole dishes and the chicken soup (consomme rancheros) is delightful!

Overall, it was a good experience filled with flavor. The chips and salsa were fresh, and the tlayuda mixto was delicious. The chorizo torta was also very tasty. However, the pozole was disappointing; the broth was very watered down and lacked flavor. It was obvious the hominy was small and not tender, and the meat was bland, suggesting that they were trying to rush the cooking process, which is not suitable for pozole. It was easily the worst pozole I've ever had. Overall, the food is usually quite good—we've visited a few times—but this time the pozole was a significant miss.

The food here is exceptionally fresh, featuring an impressive selection of flavors, including five different types of mole. Tina, our friendly and attentive waitress, encouraged us to try a few of the moles. The deep, rich black mole is truly remarkable. Plus, you can have any of the moles served as a sauce on a "wet" burrito, which is as large as a small submarine!
