The deep dish is very good. Takes a while to make but the topping list is extensive. Their are appetizer options for vegans. A good compromise to hang out with your non veg friends.
Their deep dish is all you need. It's the best vegan deep dish in town! Just be careful, cause that food coma hits hard!! Make sure to give 45 minutes for them to make it! Down side is it's a bit pricey. I got a vegan deep dish with only 3 toppings and it was $30! They could definitely use more vegan toppings/meats.
This place has a great vibe. It's romantic but has a bustling energy to it. They get 10 stars from me for having a vegan menu. A whole superstar menu that tells you what you can have and waiters who understand what vegan is so you don't have to triple check everything they tell you. The only reason they get a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because the options we picked weren't great, and we had asked for guidance. We got a salad with apples and walnuts that was good. We ordered a vegan deep dish pizza (awesome that you can even get one). Adding vegan pepperoni was $5 extra. We were curious so we asked 1) if it was good and 2) if we could try it before we committed. The waitress said it was really good and they couldn't let us try it. So we ordered the vegan pizza with spinach, roasted garlic and vegan pepperoni. The pepperoni was not great. A small amount of it is interesting to try, but the thick layer they put on the pizza was pretty overwhelming and not delicious. Now if you've read my previous reviews or seen my cooking videos or follow me on Instagram you KNOW I love garlic more than the average garlic lover. So it's hard for me to even write but there were whole cloves of garlic layered on the pizza. One regular sized bite could easily get you three cloves in your mouth. It was overwhelming even for me. I had to pick off garlic and pepperoni to make the pizza good [hidden link] IG: [hidden link] IG: [hidden link]_Foodie
I usually don't like ordering pizza with vegan mozzarella because I'm not a fan of Daiya. I'm not sure if I'd be a fan of Teese on a regular pizza either, but here, topped with everything else, it tasted great. The star of the show is the crust, though. The deep dish dough is crispy, buttery, flaky. It is worth the wait. My non-vegan wife enjoyed her pasta and her creme brulee too. They told me one small pizza would be enough to feed 2-3 people. I did not believe them, but they are telling the truth.
