It's unfortunate that they don't fully commit to being 100% vegan. There's really no need for anyone to include fish on the menu.

You can enjoy a fantastic vegan meal here. Most of the vegan options include soy or soy sauce, which is something to note. I appreciate that all the ingredients are organic. They offer fresh juices and gluten-free vegan desserts, with influences from macrobiotic cuisine. However, it seems there has been a change in ownership recently, and the vibe feels a bit more like a chain café, almost fast food. They've switched from a chalkboard menu to laminated menus, which can be a bit confusing when trying to figure out what to order. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the cold peanut salad in the deli case and the shiitake sushi. The restaurant is beautifully located right on Melrose, and they serve fish as the only non-vegan option.

This restaurant offers a bright and cheerful atmosphere with excellent service! It features a unique fusion of Japanese, Mexican, and American macrobiotic cuisines. They serve vegan tomato sashimi and vegan tuna, and aside from the fish options, the entire menu is vegan. The grab-and-go case is quite impressive, filled with an array of salads and desserts. Brunch is served until 3 PM, so you can enjoy delicious vegan pancakes, ramen, udon, sandwiches, salads, and macro-bowls. They also provide free Wi-Fi and have shaded outdoor seating available. Parking is conveniently located in front, and there’s validated valet service around the back.

Great selection of food... not only sit down restaurant, but also deli selection of prepared food and delicious desserts. Nice sunny bright location. They are mostly veg vegan, but have a few fish options. But all the baked goods desserts are vegan.
