Though the food is good, the options continue to be limited and a bit over price. They are down to one soup, onion. Bread- 4 rolls for $10. No complementary French bread from many years ago. Though I like their tuna tartare and it is large for a starter, as an app, it is pricey. The chicken parm needed extra sauce. This is one spot we frequent as we have season tickets with Center Theatre Group. We brought our own wine-$40 corkage fee is a bit steep. For three people with tip almost $100 each. Biggest concern on a Friday night, not even half full. If they do not improve their dining options they will be gone before we know it.
Menu is narrow although good. Noise level is poor as it is difficult to hear fellow diners. Convenient location for concert and ballet attendees overrides detractions. Fix the noise.
The plus is it's located in the music center. Food is average. Not up to expectations in a French bistro. Mussels were bland and sauce tasteless. Service was good, but server was frantic and hard to get her attention.
Are here after ballet at Dorothy Chandler. Food is overpriced. Ordered the clams in wine sauce starter but they were in a tomato based sauce that is not the usual delicious butter, white wine and garlic sauce. It was not great. The wine pour -at $25 for the Sauvignon blanc was a rip off. Fries were good because they were crunchy- love crunchy fries. . My friend ordered the chicken parmesan and liked it. For $42, you're paying for the convenience and ambiance. Our server was lovely. Not sure I'd recommend except it's so convenient! Too bad they are no longer the delicious brasserie they used to be.
