Kazoku Sushi - Los Angeles

This sushi restaurant appears to have chefs with little to no formal training. The egg sushi was not made from real egg; instead, it resembled a sweet, gelatinous yellow cube on rice, which I found quite unappetizing. The rice was also slightly undercooked, which is disappointing for a sushi establishment. To top it off, they substituted one type of fish for another without informing me.

This is my go-to spot for sushi in the neighborhood. The chefs are friendly and enjoyable, and the service is consistently excellent. Additionally, they offer fantastic happy hour specials!

Although I’m not a huge sushi fan—preferring baked rolls— I was genuinely impressed by the outstanding quality and flavors of the food. It's a shame the restaurant was so quiet; perhaps it's due to the abundance of sushi places nearby or its location in Thai Town. Regardless, this restaurant certainly deserves more attention from sushi enthusiasts. At least I know I’ll be a loyal customer for life!

I’m sorry, they were so sweet but the sushi was and I hate to say this) the worst I’ve ever had. I’m sorry to that man. Crossing my fingers that I don’t get sick. :

This sushi was delicious! And traveled well. Grateful for their care in packaging it.
