The food wasn't great. We ordered Lamb Curry and Biriyani (that was more like cured fried rice), but the meat was overcooked. The boss recommends chicken dish was bland and overcooked. The appetizers were average. Even my vegetarian friends did not like their Palak Paneer and Gobi appetizers.
I took over from this place. We ordered 70$ food, including dal tadka, a dish of rice, Tandoori chicken and watermelon salad. Firstly, they forgot the rice plate, even if we were charged in the receipt. The watermelon salad should contain disc cleaners, but I hardly found anything other than melon pieces and onions. The dal had no tadka (only boiled dal). I wouldn't recommend this place to everyone. Very miserable and frugal place.
The food and service were both fantastic! I wish I had taken some photos, but if my family and I were eating, we were faded and ate it pretty fast. We had a crab chocolate curry and the masala, along with an appetizer whose name comes from me (has a mango sauce) Everything was great. The server was very nice and attentive. I think if you go in you know that it will be good, the aroma is amazing, and you are quickly welcomed by a friendly face.
Oct 2021 Update: visited the restaurant again post pandemic lockdown for dinner, they added some new dishes. My new favorite blue crab curry. It was Yumm!! Love the flavors. Went there for lunch and loved the food options. Had chicken tamattar lunch option and loved it. Portions are huge even for lunch :
