Hinoki And The Bird - Los Angeles

We have visited many times, but this particular visit just didn't meet our expectations.

The food is great, but the menu hasn't changed at all in ten years since they lost the original chef.

Our dining experience at Hinoki Bird was wonderful! The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and every dish we ordered was absolutely exquisite. The atmosphere was also fantastic. We definitely plan to visit again on our next trip to LA.

This is a wonderful restaurant. We reserved it for an event, but if you're seeking a formal setting for a business gathering in a quiet environment, this may not be the best choice. The seating area is shared and accompanied by loud music, making it challenging to hold an event.

We started with appetizers of brussel sprouts, fried chicken, sashimi, and kale salad. Each dish was delightful, particularly the sashimi. For our main courses, we had the black cod and hanger steak. The cod was outstanding, but we found the steak a bit bland. Their selection of cocktails and wines is quite extensive. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner. Today, we returned to sample the menu for our daughter's wedding, and every dish was unique and absolutely delicious.
