Guisados Dtla - Los Angeles

With countless taco places in LA, you'd assume nothing could still surprise you after living here for a few years. However, Guisados is one of those restaurants that consistently impresses with its outstanding flavors, even years after my last visit (which was about 5-6 years ago). The cochinita pibil, while becoming more popular at other taco joints, remains somewhat of a rare treat here, and I highly recommend giving it a try. I ordered the mini sampler, and everything was fantastic—delicious! The Armando Palmero drink was outstanding too. I really appreciate the cup they use, which allows you to drink with the lid on without needing a straw. I initially came to this building to try the food at Ricebox, but I stumbled upon Guisados nearby, which had excellent reviews. They offer some of the best tacos I've ever had, and I will definitely return for more when I'm in the area again.

In my opinion, this is the best taco spot in LA. If you haven't had the chance to try it yet, you absolutely shouldn't miss out. And if you're already a fan, then you know exactly what I mean. They have several locations in Downtown LA, Echo Park, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, East LA, Pasadena, and Burbank, all serving up the same amazing taco recipes. Just your average Taco place to go to at 2AM after the clubs, the tacos were okay in my opinion, not a wow factor, but just an average taco place for late night cravings. The best taco was the pescado and the shrimp tacos in my opinion.

Excellent street taco?s. We ordered the beef and vegetarian sampler plate and all of them were delicious. Very friendly staff and service as well.
