The quality of the dishes is quite impressive as well. My wife and I shared a Cobb salad and a Reuben sandwich, and it provided us with two and a half meals in total. The establishment also features many charming details that are hard to come by these days, such as an old-fashioned candy counter, a lovely takeout deli, and outstanding service. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.
I am completely in love with this restaurant! I enjoy all the food and the atmosphere is fantastic! It's definitely one of my favorite spots in LA!
Had my first French toast here and it was delicious! Location is new from what I heard. The prices are friendly to tourists in my opinion, considering how expensive the city seems to be. Wide range of food as well and really pretty establishment.
I ordered the half sandwich with soup (matzo ball and pastrami) for $17. The soup was quite filling on its own, but I couldn’t resist sampling the coleslaw and pastrami as well. The matzo ball soup was straightforward, featuring one large matzo ball in a subtly flavored broth that really hit the spot. The coleslaw was a bit too watery for my liking, though the pastrami was quite good. While nothing was extraordinary, the sandwich and soup were both solid. I will definitely return to try their all-day breakfast and their famous Bloody Mary, which I've heard is delicious—I can't wait to see for myself! If you plan to visit after 7 PM on weekdays, you should be able to find street parking. If that’s not an option, there’s a parking lot in the back for $7, and on weekends, they offer valet service.
Best diner in all of LA. Support them. They are all lovely.
