El Patroncito Mexican Cuisine

Initially, we planned to go to Jack's, but we stumbled upon this fantastic Mexican restaurant instead. I ordered the beef stew while my companion opted for a wet burrito. I have to say, the stew was perfectly cooked; the beef was so tender that it practically melted in my mouth with each bite. They served it with white rice, just like it should be. Although we were warned that the food might take a while, we were pleasantly surprised that it didn't take long at all—there was only one other family there. On a typical day, it might take about 30 minutes, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. The drinks were genuine and not made from powdered mixes. The prices were reasonable, and I would definitely recommend it. Just a heads-up: you might feel like taking a nice nap afterward—trust me, I had to fight the urge! The staff was fantastic as well. I will definitely be returning soon.

NO SERVICE! I visited on a Sunday, and it was obviously very busy with only one waiter on duty. When we asked if we could seat ourselves, he was rude and told us to wait. After sitting down, we waited for 10 minutes without being served, so we decided to leave. As we were walking out, he yelled, "Sorry, we're busy!" If the restaurant is so crowded and making good money, they should hire more waitstaff!

I absolutely love this hidden gem! The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are generous—you definitely won't leave the table hungry. As for vegetarian options, I found it easy to find choices on the menu. I even asked the owner about additional protein options, and they were very helpful.

Overall the food was pretty okay the carne was chewy the white rice threw me off the camarones were good. We came around 1 ish it was just one lady working running around looked like she could use help the service was a bit of a wait but nothing too bad. I wanted a caldo and said it was at least a 30 minute wait normally i would have waited but i was with other ppl so i got something else and we still ended up waiting hella long Seemed a little unprepared i understand the food having to be made to order but the agua frescas? Wanted a refill on an horchata and she had to go soak the rice. Was gonna ask for extra salsa but was probably gonna have to wait for all the chiles to grow. The place wasnt busy when we went every ones food looked good and when you first walk in the smell makes you crave everything. I would go back to try the other stuff

Last week we just drop by and to our surprise we found a real Mexican food restaurant. All the specialties you can imagine, including breakfast combinations, which are served all day, with the genuine Mexican food taste. Plates presentation was very original,the place was clean, welcoming and they had very good service. We preferred the Mojalquete and, of course, Burritos. This unique place made me remember my dinners in Mexico many years ago. I surely will recommend it to my friends and come back soon!
